Principles

Expository Preaching

We open the Word in a verse-by-verse fashion in order to clearly proclaim what God has said so that we may live it out.

Prayer

We are devoted to prayer. It is a part of every aspect of our lives. We are confident that God hears and answers the prayers of His people.

Fellowship

We love the body of Christ, and we fellowship often with one another, encouraging one another to walk in a manner worthy of the gospel.

Discipleship

We want to see every believer mature and grow into the image of Christ Jesus.

Evangelism

It is the responsibility of every Christian to proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ to the lost world around us. Consequently, we are called to be witnesses to this mission.

Reformed

We affirm the Five Solas of the Reformation
1. Sola scriptura: “Scripture alone”
2. Sola fide: “faith alone”
3. Sola gratia: “grace alone”
4. Solo Christo: “Christ alone”
5. Soli Deo gloria: “to the glory of God alone”

The five solas of the Protestant Reformation offered a strong corrective to the faulty practices and beliefs of the time, and they remain relevant today. We are called to focus on Scripture, accept salvation by grace through faith, magnify Christ, and live for God’s glory. Because of our affirmation of the five Solas, we also affirm the doctrines of grace. These doctrines naturally flow from these core biblical truths.
